Dr. Peter Olausson started his career as a cognitive neuroscientist and spent over a decade at Yale University researching how our memories, motivation and cognitive control together affect decision-making. Before starting COGNITUUM, Peter was focusing on new breakthroughs in the information solutions that shape the human experience, including cognitive computing, data analytics, neuromanagement, and knowledge networks. Peter received his PhD in neuropharmacology at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden and his postdoctoral training at Yale University.
ABSTRACT :
COGNITUUM has developed a general intelligence framework that provides a viable pathway towards human-level machine intelligence. The platform features continuous and real-time learning from any data source.
James Tee completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering in 2001 at the University of Canterbury, where he worked on Turbo Codes under the supervision of Desmond P. Taylor. Subsequently, he held various industry and policy positions at Vodafone Group, the World Economic Forum, New Zealand's Ministry of Agriculture & Forestry, and the United Nations. In 2012, he began his transition into scientific research at New York University (NYU), during which he completed an MA in Psychology (Cognition & Perception) and a PhD in Experimental Psychology (Neuroeconomics). Most recently, he was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU's Department of Psychology, and a Research Scientist (Cognitive Neuroscience) at Quantized Mind LLC. In September 2017, James began his venture into Mind-Body and Energy Medicine, where he is currently pursuing a 3-year MS in Acupuncture clinical training to be an Eastern medicine physician, at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. Since November 2017, he is also an Adjunct Fellow with the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Canterbury.
Co-founder of NextGenVest and a Ph.D. candidate at NYU focused on AI and Neuroscience. I was a deep learning researcher at the Center For Theoretical Neuroscience at Columbia University, a software engineer at Goldman Sachs, iOS Lead at Bonobos and led the development of 8 iOS apps. I started my career as a Naval Officer undergoing US Navy SEAL training (BUD/S class 277) until I was injured in training and worked at NSW Special Reconnaissance Team One (SRT-1). I went back to school at Columbia University where I obtained a B.A in Statistics and Computer Science with a minor in Math. Follow me on twitter: _willfalcon
